Tetragramaton Pendant (Silver)

The tetragramaton pendant symbolizes unity and the power of the microcosmos, both in its perfection and balance.

This union of opposites, this perfection of all and everything allows us to feel the transcendent in humanity and the divine in everything that exists.

This silver tetragramaton pendant measures 1.5 x 1.5cm in diameter.

About the Tetragramaton

In the 19th century, the occultist Eliphas Levi developed this pentagram.

It is generally interpreted, like several other pentagrams, as a symbol of both the five elements (air, water, earth, fire, and spirit) and humanity and the microcosmos.

Based on the word of the Divine God (tetragramaton), the brilliance of the meanings of this symbol lies in its rich complexity of symbols and the simplicity of its overall meaning. In the tetragramaton, multiple symbols represent the union of opposites.

The combination of Venus and Mercury symbols at the center of the pentagram – the Sun and Moon on either side of the Venus/Mercury junction – the Caduceus below the Venus/Mercury junction and intertwined with the Omega – the union of feminine and masculine – The four elements are represented by the cup, staff, sword, and disc (These associations were common in the 19th century and are still evident in occult tarot cards and ritualistic pieces).

The eyes at the top of the pentagram represent the Spirit that takes precedence over matter.

The concept of macrocosmos and microcosmos in this pentagram is that the microcosmos is a small-scale reflection of the Universe (macrocosmos).

All elements can be found in humanity, as well as the influence of the planets (represented in this symbol by the Moon, Sun, Mercury, and Venus at the center, Mars on the upper left arm, Venus again on the upper right arm, and Saturn on the two lower arms).
