Notes on Himalayan black salt

Himalayan black salt, also known as Kala Namak, is common in South Asia and is a type of rock salt with a very intense sulfuric smell. This salt is not marine, as each stone was collected from a salt mine in the Himalayas.

Each salt lamp will weigh at least between 2 to 3 kg (or more).

Attention: Due to the hygroscopic properties of salt, Himalayan salt lamps and candlesticks absorb moisture from the air.

If your lamp is \"sweating\" or dripping water, this is usually due to it being turned off or in a space with little sunlight exposure. To address this, leave it exposed to strong sunlight for 4 to 5 hours and remove excess crystals with a brush. Or clean gently with a dry cloth.

If you do not turn on the Himalayan salt lamp for long periods (e.g., during holidays), disconnect the cable and remove it from the lamp.
