Mystical Lenormand

The Mystical Lenormand deck reimagines and presents the Lenormand deck in a new edition with a mystical twist. Based on the original Lenormand cards and themes, the 36 cards of this deck have been created, framed, and reproduced using the tempera technique, making each card a vibrant work of art.

Illustrator Urban Trosch has framed each card in its own window, presenting a more defined and realistic reality. This takes you into a unique and real world, offering a new perspective on the gypsy deck. The Mystical Lenormand deck consists of 36 cards measuring 5.7cm by 8.9cm, along with a small instruction booklet in English.

The instruction booklet by Regula Elizabeth Fiechter describes each card and provides some reading methods in English.

About the Lenormand Oracle (Gypsy Deck) The French cartomancer Marie Anne Lenormand (1768-1843), universally known as Mlle Lenormand, became famous due to her privileged connections with Empress Josephine de Beauharnais and her husband Napoleon Bonaparte. Her association with high society earned her the nickname “Sibyl of the salons,” inspiring the creation of a 52-figure divination game published in 1828. Around 1840, this game was redesigned and reduced to 36 cards, giving rise to the “Petit Lenormand,” a divination system still highly appreciated worldwide. The Lenormand deck is often referred to as the gypsy deck or gypsy oracle.
